The DS port is not the death of the original, it is a renewal. Take me for instance, I never played chrono trigger cause I couldn't be arsed to download an emu and sit in front the monitor all day playing it, now I'm playing it on the DS with some new content and a new ending, which is not much for previous players. I'm not saying that it's great for someone who played it before, but it is excellent for someone who never did. What's so bad about that?

No, you made the right choice. It improves upon the SNES game in so many ways, mostly by fixing and improving the translation (makes a huge difference). The new extra ending is wonderful too, and it ties in beautifully to Chrono Cross.

THe fuck, the ds version is fine. Its the best one. The decent speed and load times of the snes, and the Anime cutscenes from the PS1. The sprites are slightly cleaned up a bit aswell. Whoever says that the DS version is shit, is a dousche. You think youre the only fan of this game?

It's like a remake of a movie, it's still good and gets the point across, but those of us who played it when we were young on the original will always prefer the original.
Think of the difference between original and remakes of star wars, same thing.

Regardless, I didn't state my opinion of the matter as you're so quick to throw in the bin of 'those who disagree with you'. I simply stated you're acting childish. Many prefer the original for the same reason people enjoy original star wars. Others prefer it modified, or first played it as such.

Your post was childish, and I stated it as such. I said nothing about prefering either side of this DS/SNES/PSX nonsense.
It's fascinating though, the nature of those who argue in that way. Simply lumping your target into being one of the 'against you' crowd. Also the cursing and 'tard, dousche' nonsense, classic. That's why I said childish.
