Hingis is probably the best tennis player men or women at Australian open, every year she is in it she gets the the finale stages only once she was knocked our r2 and that was her very first year.

Hingis was never up 5-1 in the second set. Davenport was up 5-1 and let hingis back in cuz she got tight. But to 6-1 5-1, Davenport was hitting unbelievably.

No...I actually saw this entire match. Davenport was putting a major beat down on hingis and was up 5-1 in the second. Even if you listen to the video from 2 min 40 sec, the guy says, "davenport at 5-5 looked like she had let it all slip away..." And at 3 min 3 sec the lady says, "davenport is a great champion, THE FIRST SET AND FIVE-ONE was the most phenomenal hitting of a tennis ball I have seen..." Hope this clears it up. DAVENPORT WAS UP 6-1 5-1!!!
